The best kosher bakery i ever experienced

They make the best BABKA in New York City

During the holidays we ordered Chocolate Babka especially for guests we were having. What we received was cinnamon Babka. We called the bakery to try to get the correct order delivered. We spoke to a man with a heavy accent and gave him our order number and followed it up with an email. We never heard from them again. The cinnamon Babka was terrible. We had two loaves. After cutting into the first loaf and trying to eat an overly sweet, almost pure sugar pastry, we threw the other loaf away. I wish we bought the Babka from Food Lion!

This place really deserves a five star rating...the service is very fast the staff are very helpful and when the owner is in store he takes his time to take care of the customers and makes sure that they get full service , the place is very clean and tidy, parking is available, sometimes it can get busy but services remains good, good variety with a lot of options , well stocked, very famous in the area, the food is good and mouthwatering and nicely presented and clean, the food is always fresh, the cakes were great, bread fresh and crispy, nice variety of cold drinks.Couldn't expect a better experience..

Great Babka. TERRIBLE Customer Service. I've ordered Green's Babkas for my family for a couple of years now. This past holiday, I made an error on my address and had the wrong zip code. I think the mistake was because Chrome autofilled the shipping zip code. Ok, my mistake but the way it was handled made it clear that Green's couldn't care less if my holiday package never arrived. Their only response was to send me a copy of my confirmation email, as if to say, "Look, it's your fault and we don't care." I don't expect a new babka to be shipped out but at least give some kind of indication that my business matters to you. I'll find another place next year. Too bad because the babkas are really good but I've had good ones at other places.

What a National treasure. Having grown up on Long Island in the 50'and being a child of immigrants I grew up eating all of the wonderful products offered by Greens. My brother introduced me to their Bobka and the rest is history. Rrugelach to die for! Thank you Greens!

Delicious!!The whole entire area smells from babka

The chocolate babka is absolutely amazing! We got a gift basket at Christmas with the babka and rugelach and it was a huge hit with our family. I especially like the chocolate babka heated up and served with vanilla ice cream. Totally recommend.

Best chocolate babka?? Greens bakery!!

Just bought the cinnamon Bobka. Looked good but it is so cloyingly sweet no one could eat it. Seems like the cinnamon sugar mixture all settled in the bottom...hard and in edible while the top portion was incredibly dry. Really terrible.

It’s not a bakery you can walk to and buy pastries (I find it out after walking for 30 min to get here from Prospect Heights). The address is completely misleading.

Excellent chocolate and cinnamon babka ordering online saves a trip to nyc will order again and try some other items my guests loved the babkas

Amongst the finest babkas in all the land, which, given the lack of babka generally these days, may make it the greatest babka around. We recently had it shipped to Alaska for a family event and it was perfect. I'm a big fan of the cinnamon babka and that might make me a heretic amongst my people, but it is not the lesser babka. The chocolate is also fantastic for people who like that sort of thing.
